Sencha Touch

Sencha Touch 2 is a mobile application framework based on HTML5, the fifth revision of the standard from 1990 for structuring and presenting content on the internet. The aim of Sencha Touch is to provide a possibility for quickly developing web apps for mobile devices, like smartphones, tablet PCs, etc.  Features prominent in Sencha Touch 2 are smooth scrolling, fluid animations, extremely fast loading times and the option to actually package your web app into a native shell giving the developer the chance to access for example the devices’ camera. In essence it is now the best of two worlds, the web app and the native app, that are available through Sencha Touch 2.
