    MoMoMoMo

    MoMo is an interdisciplinary research project paid for by the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) that aims to develop and implement strategies for “Integrated Water-Ressource Management” (IWRM) in the Model Region Mongolia and Central Asia. terrestris is responsible for the geoinformation mangement in this project.


    Geoportal Raumordnung Baden-WürttembergGeoportal Land Use Planning Baden-Wuerttemberg

    Commissioned by the Ministry of Economics Baden-Württemberg, the Regional Councils and the Regional Planning Agencies terrestris together with its partner geoinformation + planung created a state-wide geoportal for land use planning issues. The portal fulfills the demands of the INSPIRE-directive and the law regarding the access to spatial data (Landesgeodatenzugangsgesetzes (LGEoZG).


    Geoportal BrandenburgGeoportal Brandenburg

    The Agency State Survey and Geospatial Reference Information Brandenburg commissioned terrestris and its partner SimpleThings in December 2009 to implement the Geoportal Brandenburg. The geoportal is based on the Open Source Software Mapbender and is integrated into the Content Management System TYPO3.


    Geoportal Wälder im Spiegel der ZeitGeoportal Forst Brandenburg

    The geoportal “Wälder im Spiegel der Zeit” (“forest areas through time”) commissioned by the Landesbetrieb Forst Brandenburg contains geodata about the forest area changes in the federal state of Brandenburg through the last 200 years. terrestris implemented the geoportal on the basis of the Open Source libraries OpenLayers, Ext JS und GeoExt.

    terrestris was directly involved in the joint-project SDI-NRW 2004 due to a contract awarded by the County of  Recklinghausen and was able to implement a tourism portal for the Emscher-Lippe-Region since then.


    WebGIS der Stadt SoestWebGIS city administration Soest

    Since 2003 terrestris is implementing the WebGI system of the City Administration of Soest. The client is based on OpenLayers. Besides the base data like aerial photographs the system contains municipal geodata like a city map, memorials, urban land-use plan, infrastructure, district delineation, chimney sweep districts and the house number register. In 2010 metadata was integrated that informs about origin and quality of the data.


    GeoAdmin mobile Screenshot Mobile map client for swisstopo Contracted by the Swiss Federal Office of Topography (swisstopo) we developed a web based client for mobile devices. The application is based on OpenLayers and SenchaTouch and starts automatically once the Swiss Geoportal is accessed via a mobile device (iPhone, iPad, Android).
    Functionality: Search for communities, towns, rivers, mountains, addresses, field names, Feedback functionality to report correct data content in case i.e. hiking trails aren’t where they should be or addresses are incorrect.
