The geoportal Berlin-Brandenburg provides abundant geoinformation from the Ordnance Survey of Brandenburg and thus facilitates easy access to this data. Metadata regarding this information is also available so that the portal constitutes an important contribution to the spatial data infrastructure of Germany (GDI-DE).
Energy atlas of the Emscher-Lippe region
The energy atlas provides an overview regarding the situation of renewable energy in the Emscher-Lippe region. Approximately 3.400 different objects like energy businesses and locations of photovoltaic energy production can be visualised in various thematic maps. In addition the energy atlas provides information concerning contact persons for support programmes as well as other useful information.

The tour planner of the German-South-African Travel Service (DSAR) provides a visual impression of a travel route on a map. Individual stopovers are marked on the map and additional information like pictures or text are accessible through the click of a mouse.
City of Wolfsburg – city map
The City of Wolfsburg provides an interactive web map for its citizens and visitors. Addresses, institutions and urban quarters can easily be located through the search functionality as well as the interactive marking of a spot on the map. This marker can be sent by e-mail to communicate a location. The recipient will receive the exact map extent that is necessary to view the marked location. Just try it yourself!
Regiofreizeit
terrestris was contracted in 2004 by the county of Recklinghausen to set up the tourism portal of the Emscher-Lippe region. Through this terrestris was directly involved in the spatial data infrastructure initiative of North-Rhine Westfalia (GDI-NRW 2004).
City of Soest WebGIS
The company terrestris has been implementing the City of Soest WebGIS since the year 2003. Currently data like digital orthofotos, monuments, urban land-use plans, chimney sweep districts and others are present in the system. In 2010 metadata to this information was added as well as modernising the client through the use of OpenLayers.
